It's a dirty job…
So twitter keeps me abreast of news (real-time) that specifically interests me thanks to chosing a list of people to follow who I know will seed links that are oh-so-good. And what has twitter delivered today! A bundle of reunion joy that’s what!
Some special bands seem to be getting back together lately, and I seem to be getting amazing opportunities to see them. First Far not only reforming but playing in London but now it would appear that Faith No Bloody More are getting back together to play European festivals this summer!! I have non-too-few stories about failing to see Mike Patton live that I’ll be damned if I’m going to add “I failed to see Faith No More” to that list. Let’s just say if they aren’t playing Glasto, I’m going to have an expensive summer on my hands. Thank fuck they’re doing Europe at least.
As it’s my lunchbreak (I would say lunch hour but that’s a bit of a joke in these recessiony times) I’ll merely leave you with this live clip of FNM playing “We Care A Lot” as I’m being pestered to get back to work….
