Most people (that I know at least) love porn. What turned you from someone that simply likes smutty films to the sex-blogger-extraordinaire you are today?
Well after I quit my first and only real job about 2 years ago I started getting really down and I needed a place to vent my anger and do something constructive. Club1985 started out as just my own personal/art blog with the odd reference to being attracted to video game characters, but over time it started becoming more and more dedicated to the erotic arts, and as such visitor numbers started to creep higher and higher. So from about July to November 2008 Club1985 was all porno until I shut it down because I was getting tired of it. But, as you can clearly see, it returned a month later, in December 2008. That was mainly due to people, most notably Keni Styles, emailing me telling me how much they missed it and wanted it back. So here I am today, being the interviewee for a change. Nowadays Club1985 gets a good steady stream of daily traffic and its even making a little money which is always nice.
Your love for Stoya is evident all over Club1985. What would you say is your favourite ever scene with Stoya in?
Hmmmm, this is a tough one. It would probably have to be her scene in Jack’s POV #9, although I do have to shamefully admit that there are a few Stoya movies that I have yet to see so my new favourite scene may well be contained in one of those.
Please tell us, why is Stoya better than Sasha Grey?
I can’t really answer that one, there’s just something about Stoya that makes me tingle more than Sasha. It’s like comparing regular hob nobs with chocolate hob nobs. While regular hob nobs (Sasha) are obviously delicious, chocolate hob nobs (Stoya) have something extra special. I am unsure as to what Stoya’s “chocolate” is though.
Sticking to British pornstars, and in a BBC3 style, who would you rather snog, marry and avoid?

We’re not going back all that many years really. I’d never seen a porno until I was about 17 (I was a late starter). I do remember seeing Poison Ivy #3 on tv one night. It’s a cheesy softcore porno and I can’t remember any part of the plot, but I do remember that it starred Jaime Pressly, who plays Joy in My Name is Earl.
I think my first ever hardcore was something called “bad to the bone & 19″ which was a low budget, barely legal compilation that my friend’s brother brought back from Thailand. Or it could have been a scene featuring Michelle Thorne in a conservatory. I’ve since found out that it’s from the Real Couple website and what I saw was a poorly made pirate DVD that came from a man named “Big Jim”.

I think it’s good to bring back some old faces. Porno has become a lot like a slaughter line with an every growing conveyor belt of girls coming and going in quick succession, which can be annoying when you get into a girl only for her to retire before you’ve had chance to properly appreciate her.
I’m loving Linsey’s comeback because I wasn’t into porno on her first time around so it’s nice to see some new stuff being made. It’s like with Duran Duran. I was too young to be into them when they were big in the 80’s, but when they came back a few years ago I downloaded an album or 2. Legally of course.

I get a lot of porn sent to me for free anyway so I rarely have to buy any anymore, but if there’s something extra special I’ll definitely shell out and buy it.

I like a bit of both, both personally and pornographically. Although not too rough. I once saw a scene with Ashley Blue (American pornstar dubbed “The Anal Queen”) where she was taking on 4 guys, and about half way through she started crying her eyes out because they were pounding her so hard. Top tip for 2009?? Well keep your eyes peeled for Kerry Louise (obviously) she’s bound to keep on getting bigger and better. As is Satine Spark, she’s building up a solid fanbase and attracting the odd stalker, which is always a sign of succes.
