Petting Party

Yes yes yes! Halloween is nearly on us, and I’m *so* excited! My costumes are always a bit hit and miss, sometimes I either do great ones or they’re cobbled together at the last moment and are therefore a bit shit. It’s always been like that though. I remember one year when I was about 7 or 8 and I wanted to go as a character from The Worst Witch (the books, yeh, I’m too old for that TV shit) to my primary school Halloween party and my mum made me a dress out of a bin bag with stars and moons stuck on with sellotape. Proper shit. Thanks mum, it’s no fucking wonder the kids at school thought I was a dweeb.

Anyway, this year I fancy sexing it up a little. Y’know, single gal on the loose and all that. I’ve been getting right back into my comics lately so in honour of me reverting back to my old geeky self I’ve been considering going as a superhero/villain. Proper female superheroes, like in comic books and not shit film remakes, are so skimpily dressed it’s unbelievable. In fact, they do dress a little like pornstars. Fishnets, thigh-high boots, skimpy clothes; you know I’m right.

I was looking through the stills for Powergirls by Television X and I’m definitely getting a lot of inspiration, what with it being pornstars dressed as superheroes/villains. The whole latex/PVC thing might be a little pricey for just one night though. I’m thinking maybe American Apparel might be worth a looksee, no? They’re full of thigh-high siznit, and one-piece leotards/jumpsuits. Now all I need is a cape and a mask!
