Music Monday #1

On Twitter one of the weekly occuring memes is “music monday” and I’ve been so slack with it that loads of news and gossip has built up to the point where it just felt easier to do a blog…
- “Electro-rockers” and all-round nice guys Truly Beautiful Disaster have now changed their named to Luxury Living. You can find up-to-date info about what they’re up to, where they’re playing etc etc at their new Myspace home: www.myspace.com/luxurylivingmusic although who still uses Myspace I don’t know. They put on a good live show complete with amazing venetian masks so keep your eyes peeled for them.
- Gaoler’s Daughter released their debut EP last week with a fun little night at PureGroove. Buy it here but go see them play too because the music has a different feel live. Plus if you’re a hot indie girl with a penchant for hot indie boys you won’t be dissapointed. Even the audience is hot.
- Italo-fiends Pearl Flash have the ultimate NYE scoop this year with legend Casco playing on the same bill as them at Sosho. They seem rather excited about this and I’m sure they will have details up on their blog soon.
- Trailer Trash look to be hosting a pretty awesome party for those who dislike sleep on New Years Day. It’s going to be at amazing Hackney pub The Dolphin and you can see the facebook event here. The Dolphin is such an odd place but full of character [read: weirdos] so it should make for a great day if you can handle utter mess.
