I saw The Joy Formidable back in 2008 when I worked at The Old Blue Last and they totally blew me away. I kinda then forgot about them (oops, my bad) and occasionally heard them on BBC 6music (totally like the best DAB station ever!) which was nice but it was only recently my interest in them has been reinvigorated thanks to my super-awesome NYLON mixcd which they sent me in the post from NY!
