At some point over the weekend I spent many hours plundering YouTube for so-shit-they’re-amazing ’90s music videos with my friends. We were hunting for classic r’n'b, hip-hop, reggae and dancehall and OMG I forgot how good this shit is. Freakin’ awesome outfits for a start (seriously, sometimes I watch House Party just to get outfit inspiration), campy beyond belief dance moves, hilarious facial expressions and directors who play fast and loose with the concept of music-video-plotlines.
