And apparently I’m not the only one to think so. HK boutique Joyce recently (okay, I’m a little behind on this but y’know what, so what, I’m not a fashion blogger and I only just remembered about this) commissioned Rodarte to do four beautiful and unique dresses based on four of Maggie’s films: In The Mood For Love, Hero, Clean and Heroic Trio. Don’t worry guys, this ain’t all about pretty dresses, it’s about charity too. AnOther Magazine informs us that “The dresses were auctioned at a magnificent event in Hong Kong on March 19 with all proceeds going to UNICEF.A short film by top Chinese photographer/film maker Wing Shya featuring the dresses is currently showing on You Tube, and for every click to the site until March 31, Joyce will donate HK$1 to UNICEF.” Yay!
