Television X: Behind The Scenes with Sasha Rose
Gahhh. I’m crap. I know this. So yeh I haven’t blogged in like forever due to this that and the other, life mainly, but you know how that shit goes. I’ll try to be better in future, I pr0mise.
This Sunday I went on set with the gorgeous Sasha Rose for our new show Tashes To Gashes. This is the follow up to the SHAFTA-winning Life In Bras which was pretty fucking funny, and Tashes looks set to be just as good. I won’t go into spoiler-overload but as it’s set in the ’80s (like the BBC series what it paying homage to), it means I’m totally in love with all the costumes. I think you can guess which of my favourite sci-fi films this particular scene is in tribute to 
The whole scene was shot in an antique store in Hackney and I feel in love with well over half of the stuff they had in there. Neon signs in the shape of BBQ pigs, 1920s sad-looking French lamps, awesome Italian spaghetti cocktail chairs, weird paintings, photos of kittens and oh my lord, taxidermy. As my friends and Twitter followers will know, I really love taxidermy so when I saw this really tragic looking small mounted antique deer head I knew I had to have it. I think I may just be the only person weird enough to have bought taxidermy at a porn shoot.
